We have several ways to report a cyber security issue or incident, depending on who you are.

Calling us is free within New Zealand. We’re open 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, and we’re closed on public holidays.

Report a vulnerability
If you find a vulnerability in a service or product, we can help you communicate with the vendor whose systems are affected. This is known as coordinated vulnerability disclosure.

If you believe you have found a security issue with an NZIC system, please send it to us by emailing web@nzic.govt.nz. Our IT Security team will work with you to validate and fix it.
Notify the TICSA team
Network operators can notify the TICSA team about proposed changes to the telecommunications network by emailing ticsa@ncsc.govt.nz.
